KRISHNA DHARMA dasa

KD-small_edited.jpg

I joined ISKCON in 1979 at Bhaktivedanta Manor, taking diksha from Jayatirtha and then Bhagavan prabhus. I lived in the brahmacari ashrama until 1985 when I got married to my wife Chintamani dhama dasi. We have three adult children, Madhva, Radhika and Janaki. In 1986 we opened a centre in Manchester, England, where we stayed for 15 years. During that time, I acted as the TP, as well as the National Secretary for ISKCON UK from 1992-1997.

Returning to the Manor in 2001, I took up full time employment which lasted until 2021, when I retired. I am the author of a number of books, including retellings of the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Srimad Bhagavatam. I have also had many articles published, both in devotee and non-devotee publications. Information about my writings can be found on my website: www.krishnadharma.com. Along with my wife I have also compiled a website about how to improve our sadhu-sanga and deepen our relationship with Srila Prabhupada through discussion of his books. This is here: www.improvingsanga.com. We also give seminars and coaching on this subject.

Currently I am working on completing my Bhagavatam retelling, Brilliant as the Sun, which has so far been published up to Canto 5, as well as a commentary on Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad-gita. I live in Bushey, England, with my wife.
