Member of ISKCON since 1990. He was actively engaged in preaching work and book distribution as a Sankirtan leader in many countries of the former Soviet Union till 1996. From 1996 to 1998 he got education in Mayapur. Later he was sent to take preaching responsibilities in Bangladesh, where he was travelling in Sankirtan party. After that he assisted GBC in establishing the temple in Allahabad as a Youth preacher and as the vice president.  In 2003 GBC sent him to Nepal to develop the Youth preaching and to help in creating the stronghold of Krishna Consciousness there, as per the instructions of Srila Prabhupada.

At the present moment Patri das is serving as the Regional Secretary of ISKCON NEPAL. He also is the active member of the
United Nations (URI), author, publicist, poet and musician. He is known worldwide as a motivational trainer and speaker as well as a linguist who is fluent in many languages.

Mentor to many influencers, corporate and political leaders, pop and film celebrities. He actively teaches philosophical and moral disciplines for youth and students at universities and colleges around the world. In India he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen by the Government of India. His contributions are renowned in the fields of education and social services.
